Dr. Moreno joined Independence Women's Clinic in 2016. She grew up in Independence and Parkville, MO, and this is where she calls home!
She received a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science at the University of Texas at Austin and specialized in Clinical Microbiology before obtaining her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2012. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2016 and is Board Certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Moreno is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Kansas City Gynecology Society, and The Menopause Society. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including DaVinci Robotic assisted surgery, and managing women through perimenopause, including hormone therapy. She also enjoys caring for women through all stages of life, including pregnancy.
Dr. Moreno is married with 3 children and a German Shepherd. She loves running, cycling, art, and is an avid reader.
